I have never seen so many disgusting people in my life. No security or order. Drunks harass people coming from the YMCA and the restaurant next door. The Owner or manager does NOTHING about it. As a former meadowood resident this people needs to be shut down

At first glance it seems like a pretty nice place until i got my food and there were black bugs crawling on my plate. I went to the bathroom and.saw the same bugs on the sink. So i left and was followed to my car by a woman stating she was the owners girlfriend and rhat i tacky for only leaving a 2.00 tip. Instead of questioning my money they should question there quality of service 2.00 tip was too much for the what i went through

wilmnative wrote about Comegy's Pub

this place is definetly for people over 40 trying to party like the 70's ; if your into drinking moderatly priced beer and packing your nose full of snow then this is your place. The bar is dirty and the women are dirter. 2 stars based on you can get what you want there.

I have to agree with the last reviewer that the first had an outlier experience. Comegys is a great bar. I've been there a few times and always found everyone really friendly, but definitely a bit older and there for the party. The photography of Fred Comegys is the number one reason to come to this bar. His work is amazing and he's a true legend in the area. If you appreciate great photography and want to have a few brews, maybe watch a game with loud group of characters this is the place to be.

My partner and I were discriminated against at the Summerhouse, because we were gay. I was so furious about it I sued them through the state's Human Relations Commission and WON, Unanimously! I'll never go to any of the Big Fish Restaurant Group restaurants, which includes the Summerhouse, Big Fish and now Salt Air. Do a search online for all the details.

Last night, my best friend and I decided to check out this bar, because it looked pretty crowded, and we figured it to be a fun local spot.. As soon as we walked in the door, an extremely foul stench smacked us in our faces. It REEKED in there. It was so bad that we could only choke down one drink, and then promply we had to leave before we vomited that drink back up. Please bring a clothes pin for your nose if you want to come to this place. It smelled like some one dropped a deuce in the dance floor and all those fools were dancing in it... UGH!!! WRETCHED... NEGATIVE 5 stars rating...

LoveAlwayss wrote about Tailgates Restaurant

I recently went to Tailgates to celebrate my birthday with a few of my friends on a Friday night, and I am never going back there. First of all, the security guard at the front door was too blunt and could have been more polite. When he said 5 dollar cover I couldnt believe it. It said nothing about a cover for that night on its website! Of course we were going to pay it, after all, it was my birthday. My friend asked him if they had an ATM and he said Yeah over there. The ATM kept saying processing and then said the transaction didnt go through. Instead of trying again, we went to a nearby gas station to get cash. We finally got in and it was so packed and hot. Every single time we tried to order a drink, the bartenders were either too hard to catch or not around. I even ordered a platter and it took 20 mins for my food to arrive! The DJ was horrible, the music he was playing was too dated or not dancey enough. Thank GOD for my friends and some cool guys who celebrated my bday with me. I ended up having a good time with them, laughing and dancing to the up to date songs they did play, but I wouldnt want to go back. BTW, Im only in my early 20s and I have to tell you that this scene is not for people my age. The majority of people in there were very mature in age! 30+. I swear, I even saw a guy who looked like he was 70 dancing on the floor!

A local bar where everyone that walks in becomes a local before they leave. Great kitchen, try the seafood nachos, chips & salsa or the crab soup they are all perfect!!!! Had 'The Bride's' 50th birthday there and they gave me the whole back of the place and the kitchen to cook food for party A premier Irish bar for the area

SocialButterfly08 wrote about Just Mugs Saloon

Everything is really over priced. they are desperate to make money; they will even charge you for water. The food isn't even decent. How they haven't been shut down by a health inspector is beyond me. Aside from that this is pretty much a hick bar where old sweaty men with missing teeth will incessantly hit on you and the bar tenders clearly hate their life and will make you hate yours too.

its time too boycott and stop spending money and requenting this place. It smells like sewer and is either freezing in there or too damn hott. The owner is an awful nasty unfriendly person.. The prices for drinks is insane, believe me the liqour is watered down. We used to go too happy hour and late nite Fri.and Sat. but have stopped because of the prices and the great friendly bar tenders that have worked there have all been fired.. Just stay away from this place !!!! Not worth it!!!!

chipinde wrote about Stoney's British Pub

I had Bangers & Mash. Very good. Sausage was cooked perfect, very tasty. Decent mashed potatoes & gravy & fresh peas. A reallly very good dinner for the money. Wife had the fish & chips. Fish was well cooked, very tasty dut kind of small especially for the money paid. But the chip were terrible. Cook way ahead of time - at best were luke warm and very limp. They really ruined the dinner for her. For a place that is supposed to be known for fish & chips this should not happen.

keke21 wrote about FireStone

I went to firestone for the first time on a friday night and was Very Dissatisfied! For it to be in the up and coming upscale downtown district it surely fails all around. My food took 45min to come out then when it did it was the wrong order. The bartender was extremely rude and careless. He argued with my fiance and I about how to make an amoretto sour. He made it wrong 3 times. The one thing that I did like was the outside heated bar. very romantic until you smell the dead fish and trash that swims down the de river.ugh. Lastly, there was some random band there that was remixing r&b songs w/ rock and roll. Can you say bleeding ears? Try club3, main street in newark, or trolley for a good time. Fiirestone is a failure at dining, customer service, and entertainment.

I have been before and thought the food was pretty good. Tried to go last week and we could not get anyone to wait on us. We sat for more than 30 minutes at our table, asking twice if someone could please take our order before we gave up and left. No one - not even the owner apologized!! I will NEVER go back. Good food doesn't mean anything without good service. They weren't that busy, no one seemed to care,

I neighbor told me about Cunningham's and I was stunned that such a fun pub was close to my house and I had not found it yet. The place is warm and inviting with lots of local memorabilia on the walls, which was a lot of fun for a "Native." The owner Mike, is a great guy that has a great group of regulars, a fine selection of beers and Irish Whiskeys and Live Music! If you haven't been there, you're missing out.

songbird53 wrote about Polidoro Italian Grill

It was my first time visiting your establishment. We had a planned Birthday party for my Aunt there. Our waiter's name was Cedric, he was not friendly at all. When we asked him to get us items he took his time and had an attitude about it. I had to ask for my change, he did not offer to give it to me. I should have sent my steak back, it was over cooked but I did not want to deal with the waiters attitude. It was several of us that filled out cards about the experience we had. I hope you received all of them. It was quite a few filled out. Aug 13, 2011

souldiva27 wrote about Polidoro Italian Grill

We planned a party for my Aunt here last night. The service was HORRIBLE and the food wasn't all that great. The steaks looked like leather and they ran out of steak knives. The waiter (Cedric) had the worst attitude ever! Because he was getting a guaranteed 18% he thought he could just treat us bad. NO WAY! We didn't pay him one single dime. He rolled his eyes when we asked for things we needed and he tried to keep our change from the bill. This experience was just terrible.

Don't EVER go to the Purple Parrot! We were there with an out of state friend this past Saturday. We stopped in and had a drink, then walked the boardwalk for an hour. We returned at 7:30 when the place started filling up. They would not let us in because they could not find the expiration date on our friends CT drivers license. All three of us are 49 years old and were just in there an hour earlier and the doorman knew it! He was extremely rude! The bartenders are Jerks! I guess we were not young enough or gay enough to join the evening’s festivities. Discrimination for sure!! We will never spend another dime in that place!

dpscubadvr wrote about Christiana Pub

This is a quaint pub with some good food at reasonable prices. This isn't a full scale restaurant with all the choices of such. But on the other hand there are quite a few choices all of witch were prepared quite nicely. You'll get your bang for the buck with this food. And as for the atmosphere, the crowd is very friendly, and the place seems to be kept nice & clean. There is a deck out back to accommodate smokers. And inside are TV's with sports events playing, darts, pool, and a music machine that is on the leading edge of technology (actually it is much much more than just music). A good choice to take a friend(s) for a ice cold brew of 2, and that goes great with a bite to eat! Save $ with happy hour prices until 7:00.
