Run for the Border race at the Blind Pig in Cleveland

On Cinco de Mayo, hundreds of Clevelanders celebrated the annual drinking holiday by running through the streets of downtown. The runners were competing to win the Blind Pig’s “Run for the Border” race, a unique foot race that had two-person teams running to several bar checkpoints to receive a “refreshing” shot of alcohol before continuing to their next destination. The team that found the shortest and quickest routes to each checkpoint won the three-mile race.
