Great Irish Stew Cook-off in Tucson

Armed with the necessities—scorecards and beer—Tucsonans gathered on the patio of Maynards Market & Kitchen March 8 for the inaugural Great Irish Stew Cook-off. Home chefs squared off against chefs from local restaurants, in these categories: best Irish soda bread, best dessert, best corned beef and, of course, best Irish stew.
