Summer concerts, in Delaware and beyond

There aren't too many well-known bands serving up pure, vintage power-pop these days -- Superdrag and The New Pornographers are two that come to mind.

But let's not forget about The Lemonheads. The one-time A-list-level band is pretty much frontman and songwriter Evan Dando, but then again it really was just him anyway along with a revolving door of backing musicians.

Dando's longtime vehicle has signed with Brooklyn, N.Y.,-based The End Records to put out a covers collection called "Varshons," which comes out June 23.
