Robins, shmobins. The first sure sign of spring and the impending warm weather is here. Woodside Farm Creamery opens for the season at noon on Saturday. (Let’s all pause for a moment here, and do a small dance of joy.)
To kick off the ice cream-eating season, Saturday at Woodside is BYOB. (That’s bring your own banana.) Bring that banana, and you can get a banana split for half price. Though we’re not sure even that could keep us away from a sugar cone of their delicious, pink, peppermint chip ice cream.
Visit Woodside Farm Creamery at 1310 Little Baltimore Road in Hockessin, and don’t forget to thank the cows when you see them. They’re the ones responsible for the base of that ice cream.
