Suraghan Korean BBQ & Japanese Restaurant

Elsmere, DE 19805If you've never experienced Korean BBQ, this little treasure, buried off the beaten path in Elsmere, is one heck of a place to start. Infrared grills in the center of each table allow patrons to cook their own chicken, veggies and meat (marinated 24 hours), in true Korean barbecue style, with all the trimmings.
Set back off the bustling extension of Kirkwood Highway that cuts right through Elsmere, Suraghan is one of those blink-and-miss-it spots. Their calamari is topped with crushed peanuts and served with an eye-popping sweet chili sauce that'll knock socks off. And the curry puffs, little pastry dough pockets stuffed with chicken, onion, potatoes and green curry are quite the treat.
