At Apple Dumplings on North First in Rehoboth, you can design your own doughnut, from the type of dough (traditional fluffy, denser vanilla, chocolate cake), to icing (chocolate, vanilla, glaze, coconut, peanut butter, or Nutella), filling (strawberry, lemon or cherry jelly, Bavarian creme, mocha creme), and toppings (M&Ms, crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, Gummi bears, rainbow and chocolate sprinkles). Apple Dumplings also features a full homemade lunch menu, with a "Super" BLT, pork tenderloin sandwich and warm apple dumplings. They are open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week during the summer.
